Workflow Server Status

The Workflow Server must be running for Workflow 8 to be fully functional.

To check the Workflow Server status

  1. Click the Windows Start button.
  2. Select Control Panel.
  3. Double-click Administrative Tools.
  4. Double-click Services.
  5. Under the ClosedName column, locate the Laserfiche Workflow 8.0 service.
  6. Under the Status column, verify that the Laserfiche Workflow 8.0 service is Started. If the Status column is blank the service is not started.

To manually start the Workflow Server

  1. Within Microsoft Window's Services dialog box, select the Laserfiche Workflow 8.0 service.
  2. Select ClosedStart. Windows will attempt to start the service.

    Note: If Windows is unable to start the service, ensure that your Workflow Server has been properly configured and that your Workflow 8 license is valid.
